Cross-Cultural Training

1 - 2 hour sessions

Learning how to most effectively communicate with others across cultural differences is no longer seen as a soft skill. Understanding differences between cultures can help to diminish difficulties in communication, collaboration, and growth.

Diversity, Equity, Inclusion, Belonging

1 - 8 hour sessions

Understanding the nuances of how diversity, equity, inclusion, and belonging work together is key to creating cohesive teams. This workshop focuses on the fundamentals of each term while seeing how they intersect in real life scenarios.

Multiracial Identity Development

1 - 4 hours

The multiracial community is one of the fastest growing demographics in the United States and is quickly growing in Singapore.  While there is much discussion around racial identity development, often the conversation is much more complicated for those who identify as multiracial.  Topics included are tokenism, passing, racial authenticity tests, and imposer syndrome.

Identity Development & Intersectionality

1 - 4 hours

The word intersectionality is often used, but often misunderstood. This highly interactive workshop dives deeper into various identities and allows for exploration of how these identities intersect in our roles on and off campus.

Safe Zone

3 - 5 hours

Safe Zone is a program designed to visibly identify students, staff, and faculty peers who support the LGBTQIA+ (lesbian, gay, bisexual, trans*, queer, intersex, asexual, and other identities not fitting into these categories) population; understand some of the issues facing LGBTQIA+ individuals; and are aware of the various LGBTQIA+ resources. The Safe Zone training is an interactive and exploratory workshop that provides a foundation of knowledge to be an effective ally to the LGBTQIA+.
